Finished the bag and I won’t be using that pattern again. The instructions left me going “uh?”
While I was sewing the lining I decided the hot pepper fabric would make a cute bib.
I think I’ve decided on a quilt pattern for the baby and hopefully I can get started on that this afternoon.
Happy quilting!

Found this cute book at Hobby Lobby TotStuff. It has the cutest things in it for toddlers and a couple of things for babies. I’m making Nikolas the towel wrap with matching bath mit.
I still need to put the buttons on for the eyes and bind. I want to make some bibs for the new baby when I finish the wrap for Nikolas.
I’m also playing with fabric for another bag. These strips will be the top of each side of the bag with another color in between. Did that make sense?

This little bag is giving me fits. The next step which I have started is the reverse stitch. Yuck!

Got everything cut for side 2 of the Quilt As You Go, Reversible Quilt. Whew! That took a long time.

Have a great quilting day!

Finished a bag for myself.
Yes, I know I am addicted. I can’t help myself.

Side 1 of bag

Side 2 of bag. The end flowers are dark purple and the middle flower is pale pink.

Wanted a cute way to close the bag. I thought this worked nicely.

Inside of bag. I love this fabric.

A backpack for Nikolas. Little boys need a bag to put their things in.
I did get the fabric cut for side 1 of the reversible quilt. That is a lot of cutting. I’ll be glad to get the cutting behind me.
Have a quilt-y day!

I got all the cutting done and the charms sewed together for the outside. It took me awhile to decide on the layout for the charms but I’m pleased with my final decision. When I got to the point where I was to iron the charms to the fusible fleece I stopped. Had a small panic attack, re-read the pattern and now I’m ready to iron this morning. I’m not very fast making things like this but I will be so glad when I get this tote finished and my things in it.
