This week’s goals

Sunflowers Forever – rip out bad quilting, finish quilting, attach binding ( this piece has a deadline that is quickly approaching)

Ribbit – trace frogs, fuse,applique’

Birth – finish appliqueing last 2 flowers (deadline 6/30)

Booty Swap – figure out borders (deadline 5/30)

Farmer’s Market – finish applique, sew to layout

Pretty ‘n Pink – block #2 & 3

Not perfect but not bad for a beginner. Would I want to make a quilt big enough for a bed doing paper piecing, I’m not sure. I’m going to add some borders and make a little wallhanging out of it. I need to do a little research to see how you quilt paper piecing.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Better than paper piecing, is foundation piecing. Done the same way, except with muslin or lightweight fabric instead of paper.

This way there isn’t the tedious task of removing the paper.

I’m hoping to make a scrappy looking quilt this way.

I’ve done a few blocks… and really enjoyed it.

Cindy, that’s a lovely quilt block. The list of all of your projects is enough to make my head spin!
