Great quilting day

My quilting buddy Sharon had took the class Quilt as You Go, Reverible Quilt. So yesterday she helped me get started and loaned me her book by Sharon Pederson until I can get one. I only got 3 blocks done but I was alright with that because we talked, laughed, looked at each other’s projects and had a great time. I don’t like the black fabric next to the roses so I won’t be doing that again.

   3 done, 41 to go 😀

Have a great quilting day!

I actually like the black with the roses Cindy. It makes it pop.
    You do such nice work.
I’m glad you like it. Even though it isn’t my favorite I will make a few blocks with the black next to the roses. Thank you.

  2. Coolness! I own that book and need to finish my quilt as you go project. Your’s looks awsome!
I need to get busy and order the book for myself. I can’t wait to get some more blocks done so I can see how it is going to look.

I made that quilt from that book. And I made a baby quilt like that also. It does take patience to do the hand sewing required.
If there is a lot of hand sewing I won’t enjoy making the quilt and probably won’t make more.
