Handmade by Mom

Finished the little bag for DD yesterday. It is little and pink so she should like it. I’m thinking I need to learn to make nice buttonholes so I can make closures for the bags I make.

I would like to figure out a way to make the top fold over when closed.

Happy quilting!

I love the bag. I make a flap to foldover the top on my bags and then close with velcro. Whose pattern is this?
Thanks, Linda! I’ll give the velcro foldover a try. I keep looking for magnetic closures every time I go to Hobby Lobby but they are always out. 😦 I guess it is my pattern, I knew about what size bag DD liked and I ran with the idea.

It’s pretty! Do you have a JoAnn Fabrics near you? That’s where I got my magnetic purse closures. Also I’ve gotten them at Walmart before in the craft section. They are cheaper at JoAnn fabrics.
