Got all of the bad quilting ripped out of the Sunflowers Forever. I sure hope I don’t ever make a booboo like that again. This quilt is finished and ready to go in the mail. I just hope the reciever likes it.
I did choose the border for the Mini Booty Swap quilt that I am making. The ladies at my quilting group loved it and we have been discussing the quilting for this mini quilt.
I got my flying geese made. That block took a little longer than I thought it would, it was still fun. I can’t wait to make block #3. Oh what am I saying, I can’t wait for this quilt to be finished. lol
WOOHOO!! I’m all caught up on my Farmer Market blocks and I can’t wait for the next block. I’m so loving this quilt.
Nikolas’s ducky quilt is ready to be picked up at the quilters. I can’t wait to pick it up and I can’t pick it up until next week. I will be sharing photos of it next week.
I won’t get any quilting done over the weekend as DH and I are leaving in the morning for Texas and we won’t be home until sometime Monday evening. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I’m hoping I will have lots of photos to share when I get back.

I think the last 2 day I haven’t done anything but trace pattern pieces, fuse to back of fabric, cut out said pieces and fuse to the quilt. Whew!! I have all of the frogs on the quilt and nearly all of the mosquitos dones, then I will start blanket stitching.
Today I’m going to my sewing group and I’m taking the following projects to work on.
Because We are Special Too
Mini Booty Swap
Sunflowers Forever
Hope everyone has great quilt-y day!

Not perfect but not bad for a beginner. Would I want to make a quilt big enough for a bed doing paper piecing, I’m not sure. I’m going to add some borders and make a little wallhanging out of it. I need to do a little research to see how you quilt paper piecing.
Hope everyone has a great week!

Hope everyone had a wonderful easter. We woke up to rain, 25 mph winds and 48 degrees, which made it very chilly in NM.
We had a quiet day with DH watching TV and me reading 2 new knitting books and teaching myself to cast on and do the knit stitch. I’ve ripped all the stitches out as I had purchased very fine yarn. I will be picking up some worsted yarn, like the book calls for. All my life I’ve wanted to know how to knit and could never find anyone to teach me, I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of using the internet and teach yourself books before. Thanks to CraftyGryphon for inspiring me.
