Hi, Cindy. Great blog! You sound like you know you’re stuff and I was hoping you could help me with a sewing problem. I’m fairly new to machine sewing and bought a Janome Heart Truth to make quilts. In my class, we use Berninas to piece together our blocks and I never have any problems. At home, however, I’m never able to sew accurate 1/4-inch seams on my Janome. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? I don’t understand why there’s not a 1/4-inch guideline on the machine and lining up my fabric along the edge of the foot doesn’t seem to work either. I’d appreciate any advice you have about making accurate 1/4-inch seams on the Janome Heart Truth. Thanks for your help. Thanks, Beth. I don’t know that I would say that I know my stuff but I sure have fun trying. 😀 I purchased a 1/4″ foot but I looked at my machine and I think the 1/4″ line would be the line between 1/8″ line and the 2/8″ line.
